It’s a no dairy snow day

It’s October 29th, 2011, and as I write this, snow is falling outside.
SNOW.
legit snow is falling outside.

Earlier this week, on Monday morning, when I looked at the weather and saw the forecast for “snow on Saturday,” I laughed out loud, shook my head, and thought, “Crazy weatherman. It’s October. It’ll just be rain.”
Well, I take back my words. It WAS rain, but it turned to SNOW. I woke up this morning to rain, and looked out my window two hours ago to see that the rain had turned to snow.

I will never understand this weather.

On the contrary, this week has been very interesting, not only from the weather perspective, but also from a health perspective.
This week, I have discovered that I am, indeed, lactose intolerant.
I know it’s not the worst thing that can happen, so I’m taking it in stride, accepting it, and trying not to make a huge deal out of it.
However, it will be an adventure to get used to a new way of eating and, in a sense, living.
No dairy anymore.
It’s a sad day.

But thankfully, tea is dairy-free and so is peanut butter. :]
I’m good!
