Today, I have decided that I will appreciate the little things in life.
Little things should make me excited all the time, but sometimes I take them for granted. Actually, most of the time I take them for granted.
I take the fact that the sun is shining and it’s a beautiful November morning for granted.
I take the fact that I’m still alive for granted.
I take the fact that I live in America for granted.
I take the fact that my family is the best for granted.
I take the fact that Jesus died for me for granted.
I take the fact that my friends are absolutely the best ever for granted.
I take the fact that I have reasons to smile for granted.
I take so many little things for granted that sooner or later, I forget how blessed I really am.
Today, I have a challenge for you. Stop being blind to the little things in life. Stop forgetting what God has given you. Take a moment and appreciate the little things in life.
Look at a flower or a butterfly and smile, because they’re beautiful.
Write a note to a friend and tell them how awesome they are.
Wear your favorite outfit, even if you are just staying home.
Write a blog post and express how happy you are about the little things.
Take pictures of ordinary things that you may take for granted.
Turn up your favorite song and just dance for at least 30 seconds.
Smile and say hello to a stranger in the store or wherever you run into one.
Thank God for what He’s blessed you with.
This may sound like little things, but hello! That’s the point! Appreciate what God has given you and wake up to the blessings He’s trusted you with. Be thankful. It may not be Thanksgiving, but always be thankful. Oh, and if you want, blog about the little things and share this with your blog-readers. We may just happen to start a happiness revolution.
